My humble YouTube channel has grown progressively over the years, thanks to the unwavering support of the community. I am fortunate to receive numerous requests for product reviews, and it's both my pleasure and an honour to be able to share and connect my audience with brands that deliver great products and services.
I personally bought most of the tech products and bags showcased on my YouTube channel, including my BYD Seal EV. In the event where brands send me free products or remunerate me for sponsored content, I will ensure full transparency by explicitly disclosing any of such arrangements. Honesty and Transparency are always my fundamental principles.
When I am offered free product and sponsorship opportunities I use these guiding principles to ensure they align with my ethics and values:
I must genuinely believe and be convinced that this is a product I will use myself. My entire channel is built on the tech products I use personally including my BYD Seal EV.
It has to be a win-win-win situation where my audience, the brand and myself will benefit from this sponsored content.
I test and evaluate the product before I consider if that product is suitable to recommend on my channel. When I receive a product for free, it doesn't guarantee it will be reviewed or featured in a video.
My work, my content and my opinion in the videos I produce belong to me. I create and produce each video based on what I’m excited about and what I think will be relevant/useful to my audience at that time.
I will never read a script provided to me by someone else, or say things I do not agree with.
I do not submit previews of my videos to anyone for approval or revisions.
My videos cannot be re-uploaded elsewhere without my permission. I’m more than happy to let others share my videos, as long as the post links directly to the original video uploaded to my YouTube channel.
Brands are more than welcome to send me free products or make me any sponsorship offerings if they are happy with my above principles. I always put in extra effort to showcase products that I find really good and useful for my audience.
I seek to work with brands that embrace my creativity, allowing me the freedom to craft videos that effectively highlight the features of their products as well as areas to improve. This enables my audience to benefit from making informed purchase decisions; the brand to excel, generate sales and thrive; while I get to keep having fun making videos that I enjoy.
